Hi there! Im just curious....but can you m/c after your 1st tri? I'll be 13 wks this friday and Im just wondering what are your chances when your almost on your 2nd tri? Thanks!

You can, yes. However, the risk goes way down once you hit your second trimester. Good luck to you!

Yes, you can miscarry at anytime during pregnancy. After twenty weeks, I believe it is referred to as pre term delivery though. Your risks go down significantly after the first trimester. A miscarriage after the first trimester but before twenty weeks is referred to as a late miscarriage. Good luck to you.

I read that you have a 15-20% chance of miscarriage in the first trimester, and by the time you hear your baby's heartbeat around week 12, the rise of miscarriage for most women drops to only 3% chance. Hope this helps. I know it has been on my mind as well.
