I AM so constipated but is it ok to force myself or is taht really bad and eventually lead to miscarriage ? help

I am soooooo constipated too. If you force it you run the chance of hemorroids (yuck!). I just started taking Citracil fiber twice a day on Monday. Spinach and Greens (collard) also seem to help!! I'm so freakin' uncomfortable, I'm willing to try anything!! The doctor said to also walk, but I'm just soooo tired right now, I can't find the energy. Good Luck!

I try walking in the evening after I eat dinner and it really does help. However, I haven't had any problems with fatigue yet...11 weeks.

I eat oatmeal for breakfast every morning, I think that helps. I've also been eating lots of beans and lentils for fiber. Drink tons of water too. I also do yoga, which helps ma__sage the right parts into activity.

im 13 weeks and have found eating licorice does wonders too.

an earlier post suggested one of those smoothies from a fresh smoothie place...she insisted it had blueberries in the recipe and added a fibre boost. I tried one and will pa__s on the info to all I can...it sure worked!!!

Hi ann! Best advice is to eat lots of fiber and drink lots of fluid (water, juice, etc) Im 11 wks and still constipated too. hang in there!

I read on another forum to try popcorn and it worked. I've been constipated to the point where my bowels actually hurt. Drink lots of water, too.
