I haven't taken any yet since I found out I was pregnant. But my midwife and ob/gyn said that it is safe to take every once in awhile. i have problems falling asleep occasionaly and wanted to know if anyone has taken this medication while pregnant? And if anyone had any problems?? Any input would be great. Thanks

I don't take Ambien, but I do take Tylenol PM occasionally. It's nice because now that I'm 28 weeks, I've had trouble falling asleep and it kicks my b___t the next day at work....so, it's nice to take that helps! Plus, if you have any aches or pains, which I do sometimes, it releives those as well.

once in a while is OK for a lot of things. the only 2 medications that are REALLY bad and KNOWN to cause problems other than antineoplastics (cancer drugs)are accutane and thalidomide. i took xanax which they say is bad cuz i didnt know but the doc said its fine. they know best and im sure they gave you a low dose. :o) good luck!
