Drank Before I Knew I Was Pregnant Plz Some Advice

This is my second pregnancy and well Last week I got drunk. THen Friday found Out I was pregnant.. Am about 4 weeks along. I am scared to death that something will be wrong. I don't want to this baby to be hurt. I did however drink a LOT of alcohol Which is Unusal for me. But I been hurting really bad for past few days. and there might be a chance I am FURTHER along then I think i am. PLease give me any advice I am just scared .. And honestly I don't know If i want to bring a child In this world that is messed. Up I know that is wrong BUt, I look at my daughter and myself and I don't Know if i can handle that..

I'd say it is unlikely that one episode of getting drunk is going to harm your baby but any long term alcohol use could be very harmful. As far as your feelings of uncertainly about your pregnancy are concerned, you should talk to someone in person, maybe a close friend, or a counsoler. I will pray for you and your family.

Debra Thank you for your advice. I wasn't uncertain about the child. Just a child with a dissability such as that. it's scares me and I just don't know if I could handle that.. Thank you for the prayers dear. I will do the same for you..

Jennifer, I wouldn't worry about it, as there's nothing you can do about the past. If you are only 4 weeks, the baby may not have even implanted yet, in which case it would not be affected. This happen a lot more often than people think. Many people drink before they find out they are pregnent and they have healthy babies. Don't worry...if something were wrong this early, your body would take care of it. Now stop worrying and enjoy it. Congrats!
