i heard that when u become pregnant ur immune system kind of ignores everything else in order not to fight the new baby...and that can cause u to get a cold..the first few weeks of my pregnancy i have sinus pressure, cough, sneezing, and mucousy chest...i was wondering if its true?

I have had two children, and the worst I had in the beginning of pregnancy was a very upset stomach and nausea. Later in pregnancy you can become very congested, and your body produces a lot of mucus- cervical and in your sinuses. What you describe was not my experience.

I don't know if it is fact or not but I can tell you my experience: I have 2 kids now and had 2 m/c and am now 31 weeks pregnant. With every single pregnancy I got very sick in the begining and got a bladder infection with every single one. I either found out I was pregnant or had it confirmed very early in the emergency room. I just took antibiotics and was up and running again before to long. I tend to have a weaker immune system than most normally though. So it def makes sense to me!!! lol

Not sure if its true or not, but now at about 9 weeks it seems like im getting a sore throat, upset stomach and stuffed up nose. Ive been feeling great up untill now, no morning sickness or anything.

idk how how true all of that is but i do know with my first prengancy it was practically symptomless & with this one my nose is congested 24/7 so i cant even taste all the food i crave :( & i have horrible postnasal drip because of it & i end up with this nasty cough/gag thing to the point where i almost end up throwing up. its HORRIBLE.
