Helloooo :) I've been spotting very LIGHTLY since last Tuesday. However, yesterday there was some brownish blood on my panties, and the same thing today. Twice it happened. How severely are you ladies spotting?

I have not been spotting, but just wanted to say I hope all is well with your baby and try not to stress, it won't help anything!

well, mine has never been more than just needing a pantyliner which is sounds like thats how yours is too. i think the rule is as long as its not bleeding like a period but any bleeding should be reported to your doctor just in case even though many times its not anything to worry about (ya...thats easier said than done i know!). my spotting the first timei think was implantation as i didnt know i was pregnant and thought i was having a period except it was brown or pink blood instead of red and never enough to use a tampon or pad for, just a pantyliner...it was like the beginning or end of my period. and now i spot on and off and its the same, it was red a couple times but i think it was irritation on my cervix from having s_x. how far along are you? if you are still really early it could be implantation bleeding cause mine lasted for about a week.

Margie, according to my LMP I should be 7w 2d.. but I had an early U/S on Monday due to spotting and she measured me at 5w 3d (when I should have been 6w 6d at that time). She said it's normal to be off on the dates. Also she saw the sac but no baby, once again the tech. said this is normal. Needless to say I freaked out!! I have my first prenatal tomorrow and should be having another U/S in 2 weeks to see if they find the baby. And yes my spotting hardly requires a pantyliner..except the occurance yesterday and today. I'm just praying to God we see the baby in 2 weeks. It's my first pregnancy, and of course you worry every time something 'odd' happens. :)

Hi emma. Try not to get too worked up. I had a little brown spotting (usually just on the tissue and once on my undies) after a BM about every 3-5 days from my 4th to 7th week of pregancy (and once after s_x at about 6wks). I am now 9w3d and haven't had any spotting since week 7. I've also seen my baby twice and u/s and all is well. With my spotting, the doctor suspected that it was late implantation bleeding and said some women can have this all throughout their 1st trimester. He said it was normal and there was nothing to worry about, unless the blood was red, heavy, and accompanied by cramping. Did you recently have s_x (last two or three days)? Did you notice the spotting after a BM? It could be late implantation bleeding or I have also heard that your cervix is just more sensitive when you a pregnant and can bleed after a BM/s_x/internal exam. Try not to stress too much, and hopefully it will clear up on its own.

EMMABABY: it sounds like you are the EXACT same as my situation! i went in the first time and had spotting and was found to be 2 weeks earlier in the ultrasound and just the sac..then 2 weeks after that they found the baby with hb and all was fine...i started spotting again the next day but the dr office said it was probably just from intercourse. i say just try to not worry because i had the same exact thing happen to me and i really think it was implantation bleeding which is extremely common and not harmful at all. i understand exactly how youre feeling though right now. i hope this rea__sures you a little at least! i wish you the best and hope all turns out good like it did with me.
