Hey guys, just checkin in. Yesterday wasnt at work, so sick its not even funny. I wouldnt be here today but I have a meeting so...yeah. So here is my problem today. Last night and the night before my bf has been out h__la late at his brothers house, which I am normally fine with, but I have been so sick lately I want him home to take care of me! I know he is over there working on my ugly car and making it not so ugly, but I would rather roll the ugly ride then be alone when I dont feel good. Then not only that, when he does come home he wont come to bed, he will go sleep on the couch and we are going on the second day here. That means two days where he hasnt cuddled with me or even really talked to me! I am really frustrated. I wrote him note because I havent been able to talk to him so we will see how that goes. I am just scared he is trying to put some serious distance between us or soemthing. Anyway, stressin isnt good so some one help?!

hey robyn - sounds like he might have something on his mind - the note was a really good idea - you know, since they always think we're nagging....so this behaviour has just started in the past two days? Has anything happened in the past week that may have caused him to want to distance himself? sometimes I feel that hubby tries to do that too, but it always ends up that he's stressed out about work, money, etc... he's an internalizer - so it affects me, but he has no idea... think about the changes in his life right now - anything out of the ordinary to be concerned with? let me know - but DO NOT stress... those babies need a strong mom! get back to me....

I'm gald you thought of something to say. I came here a couple of times and started to write something but always eresed it. Just couldn't think of anything helpful to say.

Hey Robyn I think its so wierd how guys can bring us lunch SURPRISE and then be distanced the next!! Its good that hes workin on the car since hes outta work for right now but you are so right after dark we need that cuddling right now and you should never go to sleep by yourself. Is he falling asleep to the t.v.?? If so do you have a t.v. in the bdrm?? I read your other post and what he said about you trippin when he read your letter, I think he behaved very poorly to your feelings! Also have you talked with him about the other "Robin" could this be bothering him??

Just try not to let yourself get too upset by it. We all need some space sometimes, it might not have a thing to do with you. Just tell him it better not or your going to run him over with that car he has been working on! Hehe.

LOL thats a good idea. He is in the process of painting it today and the idea of possibly scratching the paint...ha ha ha. You know what I dont understand though? He can go out all day and all night and expect me to be fine with it when he does come home, but yet when I go out and dont let him know whats going on or when I am gonna be home, its the end of the world and here comes the appocolypse right next to the buldging vein in his neck...yeah its just like that too! Now how is that fair?

Hey Robyn don't feel so bad you know my bf is not the kind of guy to be distant but you remember what happoened last week with him going and not bringing dinner when I was so sick the same day I went to the Dr. for spotting red well Ya he did it again on Monday Night after work went out with his tow truck friends came home at 11PM and said he would bring home din-din but again empty handed........ Ohhh..... Best part hes a tow truck driver but guess how he got home?? His bro is also a tow truck driver and had to tow him home...... We just started talking this morning as I told him that I was going to leave bc I need someone responsible and guess what he has no choice over baby bc its still in me...... They don't like that HAHAHA somethings will never change and men having babies is one of them!!

Wow Steph, you seem to be in a pretty good mood for someone thinking about leaving. We have such disfunctional relationships among us sometimes. My guy p__ses me off all the time too because when he decides to go out it is sll good. But boy oh boy I better not want to go anywhere for any period of time at all. I guess if I was a good little house wife type of person I wouldn't care. But I am incredibly independent and someone limiting time that I can have for me causes me to go off. I am definately not a docile little, do what you are told, kind of person. Boy I hate being told what to do.

i guess we're back on how smart our men really are - i think they must have all been collectively dropped on their heads when younger and are missing those brain cells that allow for sensitivity to their girlfriends/wives :)

I have no complaints about the way Mike is with our son. He plays with him more then I do. :-) But equality between us is an issue that I will never let die. I have no problem with him going out either...if he will do the same thing for me. Getting a bit personal here, but I hvae nooos_x drive right now. I guess I can partially blame it on the pregnancy, but I know also that it is because he isn't allowing me to be who I am. It is like he is afraid that if he allows me to go out and have a good time I will see how fun life is when he isn't around and decide to leave him. But that is so backwards. Going out IS alot of fun, but I always want to come home to him. He doesn't get that. Hardheaded pain in the a__s. If I didn't like my car so much I would take my own advice to Robyn and run him over with it. But it might dent the bumper on his hard head. Can't have that. :-)
