I had my first appt today on V-day. My little peanut waved at me. TOO CUTE!! she's like there's his arm and then he started moving it and it looked like he was waving. I saw the heartbeating very strong. Great appt. and I can't wait for my next. The baby is 8 weeks and 2 days old. So... I'm right on schedule... 10 weeks along. My due date is 9/19/05.

I am confused....My due date is 9-19-05 too per the sonogram I had on 2-04-05 (it dated me at 7wks4day), but I am 9 weeks today (from LMP) Too weird.

Is a sonogram the same as an ultrasound? If you so... it's gave you that date by measuring the size of the baby. One some of my ultrasound pictures it says I'm 9 weeks 2 days. So... thats date can change. You have to go by the LMP. Wierd... huh? It's all so confusing. HOW exciting!! I can't believe out sue date is the same though? TOO FUNNY!

Okay, I read my own post and got confused-let me try again. Yes u/s and sonograms are the same (pretty sure). Anyways, from the dates the gave me on 02/04/2005, I should be 9w1 day today. Basically the measurement they gave me of the baby was with those two extra weeks added on for pre-ovulation. So baby=7w1d, but gestational age=9w1d. Does that make sense? I am sure this early on it is hard to be exact on measurements because the baby is so small. I don't know, ,I just want to hit that 12 week point!!! Good luck.
