Hard Stomachs

I have heard some people talking about their stomachs feeling or being a little harder (in other forums), even when they are still unsure of being pregnant. I am 7 weeks and 4 days and I do not feel that my stomach is tighter, I definetly feel that there are some things changing down there, due to cramps and just feeling like my lower abdomen in moving around like crazy (I think I sit and wait to feel things, ha ha, so I feel everything going on). But I am not showing at all yet, nor does my lower abdomen feel any harder. Is this normal?

my belly doesn't feel harder... but softer.... and pudgier. it feels like my body is storing up fat for the baby. i think that i'm at 6-7 weeks. my hubby tells me that my uterus is pushing all my stomach fat up to near my umbilical cord.
