hi im 22 years old and i found out i was pregnant a few weeks ago... the doctor told me that i was 4-6 weeks, this is my first pregnancy and i am so worried because i am afraid to move...i dont want to do anything to hurt this baby or make it unhealthy or have any comlication when its born. am i being to over protective? Can i still do all normal activities? b/c all my friends are telling me stories...(example) "if i get sick while im pregnant my baby will have crossed eyes, and if i strain too hard i will have a miss carage" im worried for my child health every second what should i do?

Dont let them scare you. If you have a question about a certain physical activity ask your doctor. Iv been told with both my son and this pregnancy not to stop doing what I 'normally' do. Im an avid horse rider. They advised me with both to only do light riding, not to push my body (listen to your body) and definately dont lift anything much more then a gallon milk jug as it causes strain even if you use your legs. I had the flu 3 times with my son and he turned out a happy healthy 8lb 11oz baby. The only advise you should listen to is your doctor/caregiver. Worrying will only cause more strain on your pregnancy that you dont want to do.
