I was wondering if there is anything I can do to ease this cold that I have had for one week. I started coughing 2 days ago and it is keeping me up at night and I am worried that this will effect the baby.

I just got over a cold myself (it led into a throat and ear infection). DO NOT take any decongestants without talking to your doctor. Mine said the best things were steam, garlic, warm soup, and rest. It took a while, but I'm now back on track. If you look online you can find lists of the effects of decongestants on developing babies, and none are without consequences.

Hi. I have had a cold and sore throat twice within this month. My doctor said I can take Tylenol cold or Robitissun. He said there were studies and this did not affect the baby. You should call your doctor though. He might prefer you to take something else. Just because you are pregnant does not mean you cannot take anything, but I would check before taking any medication. Hope you feel better. I have also been hearing that your sinuses are worse when pregnant. I wonder why that is!!
