Hi all, I'm 8 wks and 5 days pg. I've had ms since a week after I conceived, it got steadily worse mainly nausea, but all day. Then 2 days ago it started to ease off. I still feel nauseas until I eat in the morning and get random bouts of heaving. If I think too much about feeling sick it comes on again, but defo less in the last few days. I'm not sure if I should be worried. Does that mean the baby has stopped growing? Would I know if I was having a mc already? Do pregnancy symptoms level out after time or wot? Sorry to be paranoid but advice would be gratefully recieved.

Usually symptoms go away around 12 weeks but they can come and go until then. With my first pregnancy, I had a couple of days in a row where I felt fine, then the sickness would come back for a few days, then go away, and so on. With this pregnancy I felt no symptoms at all and I worried about the same thing. Don't worry, I think it is normal. Hopefulk and Mommy to be, are these you first pregnancies?

Thanks for that Arinae and for your comments too mommy to be. Nice to hear. Actually my second pg, was 28 wks with my daughter in November and unfortunatley went into preterm labour and she only lived 7 hours. I didn't feel so sick with her thouhg anyway. Didn't get ms 'till about 7/8 weeks and it was just nausea, mostly in the morning. This has been pretty constant since minute one and now it seems to be easing off. A good thing in a way but not great if it means there's a problem. I've had no pains or anything so guess we'll wait and see. Have a scan Mon so fingers crossed all is well. Thanks again and good luck with this pg. Let me know how you both get on.xx

Around 8 - 10 weeks the HCG hormone level peaks and then starts to decrease. Most women start to notice their symptoms disappearing around this time, it is totally normal. I felt some of my symptoms start to fade, like my b___b soreness, but I still had m/s until I was 16 weeks. Don't be worried, just consider yourself lucky if the sickness starts to disappear because it really sucks to feel nauseous all the time!

It is absolutly normal to be worried, and you are going to be worried for the rest of your pregnancies about little things, and worried for the rest of your life about you baby. it is completely normal to worry. Try not to a___lyze things too much and you should be fine.

Hopefulk, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your little angel is in my prayers. Good luck with your pregnancy.
