Hi, I got my BFP 3 days ago. My gyno wont see me till the 26 of MArch. I had been trying to conceive for 1.5 years with no luck. At one point i had a u/s to look at my ovaries and was discovered they had lots of cysts on them. Doc. told me i might not be ovulating and put me on clomid. After months on and of of clomid i decided to quit everything and start praying and it worked. God works in miracoulous ways. Anyways i have been stressing alot about being pg. I get scared the baby wont implant well, and everything i feel i think its ad. i am having af cramps and they are not very mild but they are not too painful either. Ill go to sleep and themn ill wake up in the mifddle of the night sweating and scared about having a m/c. I know i should just be happy and everyone tells me that if i continue like this, ill for sure have one. Is it normal i feel like this? Is it true that all this stress can caus me to m/c? Has anyone else felt this way and ended up with a perfect pregnancy. ughhhhh??? Please help. Why am i cramping like im getting or like i have af?

How constant are your cramps? It could be normal. It would probably be healthier for you and the baby if you could find it within to relax.

hi nino3, i got my + 2 days ago. two days before i got the + i thought af was coming because i had the slightest cramps before i went to bed that night. they went away and my period never came. i knew something was up. once my period cramps start, they NEVER stop till period is over. things are moving all around in there, growing, stretching, dividing. i agree wtih lisarenee, could be totally normal. as a woman who has had two consecutive miscarriages, there is no "real' reason for miscarriages. they are not caused by having s_x, riding a horse, lifting anything etc. most (i forget the percentage, something higher than 80% i want to say) early miscarriages are from a genetic malfunction. my advice to myself in this third pregnancy is this: don't cross any bridges till you get to them. do you have any pregnancy books? that might help you too. i read through them like CRAZY my first pregnancy. i just needed to know what was going on with my body. take a deep breath. <3 jessie

Well my cramping is very constant. Its weird because ill feel a cramp and it will last like 1 to 3 secondas and then stiope, then a few minutes later there they are again. Is this normal? Also i tend to sleep with a pillow between my legs and more on my stomach, is this bad? Should i sleep a different way?

Well when i found out i was preggo back in october i thought for sure i was going to start. I have the cramps and bloating and gas and everything that comes with AF. Me and my hubby were trying to. I was supposed to start halloween night and i thought that i have b/c i had alot of v____al discharge and i felt wet so i thought it was blood, but the blood was brown. Well that night when i got home i told hubby we had failed b/c i had started my period. Well the next day i woke up and had nothing on my pad. So i was like ok maybe ill come on full tonight b/c i was CRAMPING bad. I did'nt tell hubby b/c i did'nt want to get his hopes up. So that night i said if i wake up tomorrow and i don't have blood i will test. The next morning still nothing so i tested and got a BFP. To make a long story short ( sry i just love telling my pregnancy story) i had all the symtoms of AF in the beginning. Even after i got a +. And then all my symptoms went away and i thought i was m/c everyday. But here i am 6 months later still preggo. So don't stress yourself out honey b/c you are probably fine. I wil say though when i was 5 weeks i was having cramping so i went to the ER just to make sure i wasn't m/c, so if it will make you fee better and if you have insurance i would just do that, and put yourself at ease b/c the 26th is still 2.5 weeks away. Hope all goes well and congrats!!!!!

I was the same as these ladies. I felt like AF was coming and thought I was unsucessful that month in concieving. I was even complaining to my mom that I was doing something wrong b/c I so sure the cramping, bloating, and sore b___bs were just AF. I also had some light spotting and thought for sure it was the beginning of a normal period. After two days of wearing a pad with nothing actually on it, I took a test and got a BFP. I was EXTREMELY stressed about losing the baby and demanded to see my Dr. for early ultrasounds (I had some spotting after s_x). Even with all the stress I put myself through I am happy to say I am 18 weeks now and me and the baby are doing great. Good luck and try not to stress that much (I know, easier said than done!). Congrats!

actually i think that is a good habit to get into sleeping with the pillow between the legs. i am pretty sure that is recommended once you belly is bigger. to support it all. could be wrong, more prego ladies might know that one better.

nino- I just got back from the doctors office and she told me that cramping is totally normal in early pregnancy due to stretching of the uterus. They should feel like menstrual cramps. If they are constant and do not stop for hours you need to call your OBGYN.

I am now 12 weeks and I have had cramping, shotting pains and brown and light pink spotting almost allt he way through the past 3 months...it's all fine and I had a great ultrasound yesterday...2 arms 2 legs and it was stretching it's arms as I starred at the screen and cried...It did not have any affect on me when people told me to relax...that's unrealistic and you just can't, I know...but I did take drastic measures to take many days off of work, stopped all working out and dog walking and spent alot of time in the bath meditating...I don't know if all that helped or not, but don't hesitate to do whatever it takes to keep yourself well rested : )
