For anyone who has had an early ultrasound, please let me know what your baby's heartrate is. I had an ultrasound at 6 wks and 1 day and the rate was 92 beats per minute, and then an ultrasound at 7 weeks and the rate was 109 beats per minute. The ultrasound guy said this was on the lower end of normal but absolutely okay but naturally I am worried as I have miscarried before. Please let me know if you have any info!

Mine was 155bpm at 7 weeks. Since it has increased it sounds positive. Until 9 weeks, the rate is supposed to increase 3.3 bpm per day. So it is lower in the very beginning. Good luck!

My dr. told me that any where between 100 and 200 beats at 6-7 weeks is in the normal range..mine was 138..there is no reason to worries as long as it stays strong.

Hi guys, thanks for responding. So the heartrate is on the slower side of normal, and is rising by about 2.9 beats a day rather than 3.3. These stats aren't great, but at least the numbers are going up and I'm trying not to stress until I have a good reason to. At the end of the day I am taking care of myself and doing everything right, so if it isn't to be, that is fate. But I do hope my little bean hangs in there.

When I was 5 wks pregnant they did a v____al ultrasound to make sure the pregnancy wasn't ectopic. They found a heartbeat and it was only 95bpm, then they did another at 7 weeks and it was up at 160 bpm. My last doppler it was up at 164! So as long as it goes up your little one should be fine. I was told at 5 weeks they shouldn't have even picked up a heart beat!

anyone else? I am really stressing here! I am very up and down with my moods because of it. I range from "oh my god, could this pregnancy end in miscarriage because of this," and very worried about the baby's health, to thinking that if it is meant to be it will be and that everything is fine as I feel sick and the heart rate is going upwards. I'm a mess!

I cannot speak from experience, but I do know a girl who just had her daughter in a similar situation as you. Her baby's heart rate at 6 weeks was 92 bpm and it didn't increase as high as some (She was bleeding also) and then later on in her pregnancy it regulated. As long as you're not in the nineties after seven weeks you're usually okay. Try not to stress (Yeah I know easier said than done. I have known the pain of m/c too) Just remind yourself you're pregnant today and that is what matters. Not tomorrow or the next day, just today.

I can't tell you how supported it makes me feel that you guys have answered. It makes me feel not quite so alone with the stress. I also found a wonderful American Pregnancy site last night that said 109 was in the normal range for 7 weeks, which is what it was last measured at.
