HI AM GOING TO BE 25 AND PREGNANT WITH MY SECOND BABY, I CAN USE THE FANCY BIRTHCONTROL BECAUSE I AM ALLERGIC TO LATEX AND THE PILLS MAKE ME SICK, DO YOU THINK IF I ASK I CAN HAVE MY TUBES TIED AFTER DELIVERY? OR AM I TOO YOUNG AS PEOPLE TELL ME.

You can do it whenever you want, just make sure its what you really want to do first. If you have a c section they can do it as soon as the baby is delivered, otherwise I think they like you to wait a few months before getting one, but Im not 100% sure on that. Just think it over before going through with it. While they are sometimes reversible, its not as easy afterwards to conceive again, should you change your mind one day. There are options.

I'm not sure we can advise you what to do w/o knowing more about you. For instance are you married? If so have you talked to your spouse? However, there are other options for birth control. There is the Depo shot (which I don't personally recommend b/c of problems I had, but everyone is different). There are many other options. There are non-latex condoms, and you can also ask about different birth control pills, like a low- dose estrogen pill. Personally I think you are too young to have your tubes tied, but like I said before I don't know your situation. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

The best solution for your case is to get an IUD. You'll change it every 10 years and there are no homones in it. I have had for a while and loved it. This is a pretty safe method and it is reversible. Good luck!

WELL I AM MARRIED FOR 7 YRS NOW AND WE HAVE DISCUSSED NO MORE KIDS AFTER THIS ONE. I CANNOT USE AN IUD B/C I ALMOST HEMORRAGED WITH IT. DEPO SOUNDS NICE I DON'T THINK I EVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT.
