Implantation Period

The oddest thing happened to me. I would be 4 weeks pg right now. Well, 2 days before af was due, I woke up to bright red, heavy, clotty blood for 1 day straight. Next day, it stopped as abrubtly as it came! This cannot be implantation bleeding since it was bright red, heavy and clotty. I had every pg symptom, still not feeling right. Any ideas for me?

I think you should go to your Dr. or the emergency room... I had the same thing 2 months ago.. and I miscarried. I still had all the symptoms and figured that it was maybe normal for me.. however, I had my hcg level checked again and it was down to less than 5. This could be normal for you, but maybe you should get it checked just in case. Good luck.

Hi J. Were you experiencing dizziness, weak legs, chills/hot flash or headaches accompanied by the blood? My dr said I need to get in there. I am going later today :) Thanks for the response.

TL, the only things I had were the headache and chills, that it is. I was only about 3-4 weeks along but I did pa__s alot of clots. (sorry tmi). I am glad to hear that you are going to get checked to be safe. I wish you the best.

I had a headache all weekend, but the heavy blood stopped and turned brown (tmi) sorry! But, I will still go to doc if my headaches do not stop. I will chalk it up to early m/c or horrible af! Thanks for the responses ladies :) Baby dust to all :)

I am glad to hear that your bleeding has stopped. Just keep an eye on yourself and take care. If it is a m/c don't give up, look at me, I got pregnant 2 months later, and I am not a young pup. I am 32 having my first child. (and when I give birth I will be turning 33 shortly after). Good luck to you. Keep in touch.
