My doc is booked up till next week and I was just wondering if anyone knows of anything that is safe to take during pregnancy. I haven't been taking anything at all because i am afraid to harm the baby. I am 12 weeks along and have cold and flu like symptoms.

I called the ER to ask the same thing and they told me I could take Dimetapp and Benadryl (but i don't know what benadryl could do because it's an allergy med.). She also told me Robitussin, but then she said, wait, "how far along are you?" and at the time I was 5 weeks and then she said, "ok, not Robitussin, just Dimetapp and Bendadryl". I got Dimetapp childrens, but it also gives you the measurements for adults. It tastes SOOOOO good, i just want to drink it all. of course i wouldn't , but it's that good.

Oh yeah, and I took it for 3 days and my cold went away. I still have a runny nose, but I think that's the pregnancy.
