Is This Normal

I had an artificial insemination and I should know if it worked on April 4. I'm cramping like I'm going to have a period and I'm spotting - is this normal?

A lot of women have mild cramping and spotting due to expanding of the uterus and implantation bleeding. I didn't personally have spotting, but I did have cramping. Good luck Monday! Lots of baby dust to ya!

This is my first pregnancy and all last week I had period-like cramping, although no spotting, right now I am about 6 1/2 weeks preggo and the cramping has gone away by now. Mine lasted for about a week and I too was scared when it was happening, because it didn't feel like it shoudl be (you know?) Anyways, I feel great now, no more cramps. :) I have alot of friends who spotted and even got what seemed to be their normal periods when implantation was taking place, so I don't think you have anything to worry about. Be sure to tell your doctor about the spotting though and they can rea__sure you that it's normal and nothing is wrong with your baby!! Good Luck! :)
