I think you are doing great. They say you should gain between 2-4 pounds in your first trimester. I have already exceeded that by gaining 5. Keep up the good work! Just keep eating the foods that are healthy for you and you should be ok. Don't do what I do and eat all the junk food just because it is there. Good Luck

Thank you Cathy, i'm trying to get atleast 30 min walk during lunch time but i'm tired by that time that I don't have energy to do anything....do you feel hungry all the time too? do you if this feeling will stop after a while or will it be with me throughout the pregnancy?

Nadia, I am tired all the time as well, and the doctor says that is a good sign. I have been trying to walk 2 miles a day but right now I am on a strict no excercize no s_x, no stress plan. I have a threatened m/c going on. I am always always hungry but as long as you are eating healthy it shouldn't be a problem. My dr said to "graze" all day long and not eat big meals, everytime I eat a large amount I get violently sick. You are doing great and if you stick to what you are doing you should be in the right weight gain frame for your entire pregnancy unlike some others that will gain way too much and not be able to lose it, which is what I am really afraid of.

I hope you feel better!.... i hear you about the scary thought of a weight gain...I guess what we can do is remain positive and eat right.......

Naida I am ur simlar size 5'6'' and 116 prepregnancy...with my daughter I gained almost 8lbs the first 12 wks and that was with severe all day sickness...and it lasted all 9 mo. I thought I was a hefer! But I only gained 33lbs my whole pregnancy...and lost w/in 2-3 months of her being born. Try not to worry I would worry more if you are gaining 60-80 lbs during your pregnancy. Good luck
