I know I said Part 6 would be the last thread, but I guess we're all a bunch of chatterboxes!!!!

See, I didn't even pretend that this would be the last thread...'cause I know better now! Ma, welcome back:) Nice to hear from you! Man I wish we could post pics on here...am I the only one who's the size of a small mountain now???? I've been in maternity clothes for the past 3+ weeks:(:(:( Old Navy does have some great (and affordable clothes), but I've actually been buying mine at second hand clothing stores -I figure I'll probably be going through more than a few items so I don't want to spend a fortune on them. My waist is 7 inches bigger than it was pre-preggo.....omg, I feel like a big whale!!!!

HeatherIsHopeful - December 5

LOL, yeah we'll most likely be at 10 or more by monday ): they'll be glad to get rid of us when we leave this forum for the second tri one hehe

eastcoast, I should be in maternity clothes but I've been avoiding them. Mainly cause I haven't told anyone at work. I spent the last 2 hours tonight making my own Bella bands so I can keep wearing my normal clothes. (I'm too cheap to buy the real thing. They're like $30 each and I only spent $10 on fabric and made 3)

I'll have to check out Old Navy but I don't think the store in my town has much maternity wear =(

eastcoast... I think you are showing more than the rest of us because you are actually so much farther ahead... okay well I guess 2 weeks isnt that much but still *shrug* lol some people show sooner than others, I would gladly take your place if I could I can't wait to start showing!

Jessica, that's too bad you're old navy doesn't have mush.....do you have a gap nearby??? The one near me has some good sale racks with mat clothes on them, and if you are ok with ordering stuff online, most of my pregnant friends swear by ebay for all of the mat clothes, also, do you have kijiji (another online shop/swap website)???? It's really good too -if you want cheap clothes...I refuse to pay the prices they want for clothes at 'real' stores, so most of mine are secondhand -which is fine by me! Heather, you may be right, but I think it also has alot to do with my body type -as my dr said the other day, I'm 'all belly' -nothing else on me has grown (b___bs, hips, b___t), just my belly. Which is fine, except most of the mat clothes that I've tried on are big not just in the belly, but also the legs, thighs and b___t...so the pants fit my belly and then sag off the rest of me:( Oh well, at least I'm comfortable:) and on days where I don't have too much running around to do, I still do wear my pre-preg pants -I just wear my bella band and don't do them up;) But I have to say, it's a real shock everytime I step on the scale -I'm almost scared of what will come up......

lol... I hear ya.. I have already gained like 7 pounds but I really dont know where any of it is... Im tall but fairly skinny.. I did notice I dont have the nice curves at my waist anymore and I have a bit of a bump bu nothing too noticeable to anyone who isn't actively looking lol. Im with you about not wanting to pay the rediculious prices for mat clothes... Im not sure how many kids I really want and how close in age I want them to be so I honestly do see myself re wearing most of my mat clothes.. so I refuse to pay a ton of money on clothes I'll only wear for 5 months. I'll be wearing sweats and regular jeans with the b___ton undone until there is no possible way to do so any more lol. though I have a feeling when I go back home for Christmas my mother is going to insist on buying me a new wardrobe lol.. works for me.

HeatherIsHopeful - December 6

typo.. I ment to say DON'T see myself re wearing my mat clothes...

Good Morning Everyone!! Having issues with maternity clothes? Well I bought all mine from Target ( very cheap) and Old Navy. If you go to oldnavy.com you can order from there, they have a HUGE variety there. And target has really cheap plain long sleeve shirts( for winter) I dont know what they carry down south. I also ran across a maternity catalog from Jcpennys when I was getting my daughters christmas pics done, They are really cute! Little spendy, The shirts are around $25. For me I think that is espensive for only wearing it for 4 months or so. Have any of you heard of Bella Bands? They are AWESOME. I had it with my last pregnancy, Its this spandex band that you put around your jeans and it holds them up. ( you just unb___ton your jeans when the waist gets too small) Thats what I wore for my entire pregnancy and I never once had to get maternity pants. OH and guess what!! my FIRST doctors appt is today... FINALLY! Its at 7:40PM though so I wont be able to tell you guys how it went until tomorrow. Any of you have doc appt tomorrow? oh and welcome back mal!

(YAWN) Good morning ladies! I am so tired. I got to bed at 10:40 last night. Too late for me.I'm so tempted to use my last 5 sick hours to go home and sleep. But maybe I can hold and and do that tommmorrow...~zzzzzzzz....I ordered a half slab of ribs, french fried, and loaded (b___ter, sour cream, cheese, and bacon bits) mashed potatoes last night at Texas Roadhouse. I ate l 4 dinner rolls with their cinnamon b___ter before that.....and while I had my fair dose of starchy compounds, I only ate the meat off of two ribs. Not really liking the meat still I guess. I wanted it...but my stomach didn't.:-( Just when I thought my forehead was clearing up for the first time since being preggo, red and swollen pimples popped through my forehead last night too. Oh joy. I'm so excited. Who wants to play connect the dots?

Faye84 - December 6

Oh that dinner sounds so good. I had corndogs last night, Not as good as your dinner but it worked! ick i hate getting pimples, I got one the other day...and it starts.

Good Morning Everyone, its finally snowing here, yeah. I've got one of my homemade Bella bands on with a pair of slacks completely unzipped, hehe. It works great. I'll have to check online and see what maternity deals I can find. I got on ebay last night and found some good deals there too. It sucks that I have to wear career clothes at work so I have to buy twice the clothes it seems. But I think my Bella bands will keep me for a while. I'm starving....gotta go find something to eat.

newlywed0915 - December 6

its snowing here too. I hate snow...go away snow! I need to eat too...all I have is a little pack of powered donuts, orange juice and grapefruit juice. I don't want them. I want my bed! I'm being a complainer this morning, sorry. I am so ga__sy too. Its like I have these b___s of air rolling through my system!

ma1008 - December 6

Good Morning everyone! I was late to work today cause i turned the alarm off and figured 5 more minutes and yeah that turned into a half hour. lol. Good thing is they never say anything. FAYE- im due June 7th according to the doc. and if i go by my last period i would be 14 w 1d. Im from Oregon, the weather is so c___ppy right now. Oh i have to tell you guys what my dd said to me yesterday, well she still has the little belly from when she was a baby, and she came out of the bathroom and says mommy my stomach is as big as yours, now were both gonna have babies. lol. her concept of having babies is you eat a lot and get fat and thats how you get pregnant.. now to keep her thinking thats the way it is until shes 30 is the challenge. lol.

Faye84 - December 6
