Well I have been on an emotional rollercoaster, I was pregnant and at 8wks started spotting but saw the heart beat was told that it is normal, it progressed to heavy bleeding but was told still normal, well then about two weeks ago went to the dr, saw the heart beat, keep in mind have had no cramps to this point, stopped bleeding a week later started again and went to the dr, they could not detect a heartbeat, they showed me the ribs the spinal cord, they had to do an emergency d and c on me, I am not comfortable with the whole thing I am so sad and can't seem to get over it, how can I and the baby be ok and a week later this happend. Has anyone been through this. I have a 13 yr old and just can not imagine this, when can I start trying again? Is this normal or what. Like I said I am just not comfortable.

there is nothing that you did that caused it. i just went through a miscarrige and also had to have a d & c done just before thanksgiving. there is nothing to explain why it happened it just happens sometimes. i have a 2 year old and had no problems at all with my pregnancy with him. my husband and i we're real disappointed to have lost this baby. we have been tring for about a year (its been 18months since i got off depo so know it would take a little while) my doctor told me to wait until after i have a period before i start to try again. so good luck and hope you can get through this. i know how hard it is there is still times that i will think about it and just start cring i was only 10 wks along. Good luck again
