Migraine Headaches

I suffer from migraine headaches and currently have one right now. About a week or so ago I had a three day migraine. I took tylenol but it didn't do anything at all. Normally, if not pregnant, I would have taken my prescribed florinal. I'm in so much pain and I'm about ready to throw up. Does anybody know what else I can take?

Angie603 I have the same problem and I was at my doctors appointment after having a headache for 3 days straight and he told me I could only take tylenol 500mg because I have tylenol ultra relief and he told me I couldn't take that because it has caffine in it

Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can take. I feel for you though - I find my body laughs at Tylenol - it is totally ineffective for even normal headaches, let alone for my migraines. Here is my suggestion that has worked for me - drink a cup of strong coffee, put a heating pad on your lower legs, and an ice pack around your neck (at the base of your skull) and another ice pack around the front of your head on the side where the migraine is. If you have quit coffee for pregnancy, it will make the effect of the constriction of blood vessels caused by caffeine even more effective. If not, it may not help as much, but it is worth a try. Then, of course, lie down and shield your eyes from the light and try to get some REM sleep. Hope this helps!
