Hey there, anyone else experiencing migraines for the first time now that you're pregnant? What has your dr. prescribed? Mine gave me a pain reliever barbituate with codeine!! I did not take it, and am wondering what works? thanks so much.

Nothing really makes them go away, but if you feel one coming on take 2 or 3 extra strength Tylenol, it'll take the edge off and it's safe for your baby.

what did he give you. I have a safety meds book from sick kids hosptial in toronto and i'll check and see what it says in my book for you. some are ok as long as you are not near delivery as the codeine can cause withdrawl. i am on 50mg of codeine contin daily for medical probs not related to pg and i am ok as long as i am off by the mid of 2nd trimester in case i deliver early.
