Mongolian Grills Bacteria

I love eating at a mongolian grill called Genghis Grill. Its the type of place where you get a bowl, pick your meat, pick a seasoning, pick your veggies and sauce and they cook it in front of you, kinda like a hibachi grill. My worry is that the raw meat is sitting out in open containers for you to grab from (like buffet style). I checked and there is ice under the containers and the meat is cold, but...I worry about listeria because I keep hearing all these rules about dont eat this, and dont eat that, and reheat this to so degrees, and dont eat things left out for 2 hours, dont buy the meat in the fresh meat section at the grocery store, etc... Should I be worried or should this restaurant be okay? Everything gets cooked all the way through. Any advice would help! Thanks!

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I ate there last week w/out even thinking about it....so should I have my doctor check me out? They say the symptoms of listeria are usually mistaken for common early pregnancy symptoms. And yes, I know, Im a worrier! :)

I don't really have an answer for you, but I absolutely love a restaurant called Mongolian BBQ (it sounds exactly the same as what you are describing). I went there once, about 6 weeks ago & ate everything in site. I'm now almost 23 weeks & have no problems (knock on wood! :-) I'm sure places like that have to meet some sort of specification as far as keeping the meat cold. Let me know what you find out.
