Morning All Day Sickness

I'm 8 wks today and started morning sickness about 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty much sick all day until I go to bed. My stomach aches all day and I'm throwing up 4-5 times/day on average. I called my doctor earlier this week and she told me to come to get an IV of fluid and vitamins...that helped for about 6 hours then back to being sick. I've done everything else suggested and feel like I'm running out of options. I'm extremely lucky I work from home but I have travel plans next week and I'm nervous I'm going to be sick the whole time. My doctor didn't say anything about anti-nausea meds. I'm wondering if they're safe and if I should call and ask her to prescribe me some. This is my first pregnancy so I'm new to this!! So far it's not so fun.

The reference materials I got from my doc said no pepto bismol. Other than that, I'm not sure. You should call your doc's office and see if they can give you some guidance.

i had all day sickness ith my previous pregnancy that lasted for 4 months.. i still threw up until delivery but it was ince or twice a week if i had anything sweet..dd hated chocolate!! loves it now though lol.. my dr gave me meds for the nausea but it really didnt do anything for me.. i threw up 8-10 times a day and i lost 9 kgs.. GL with ur pregnancy, think of it as a sign that ur baby is growing n ur hormones are multiplying thats why ur sick :)
