Is morning sickness just feeling nausea? Is it ok to feel nausious (sp) but not actually vomit? I am confused by those three terms and if when people say they have morning sickness or nausea if they are actually vomiting. I feel nausea and I just eat something and it goes away. No vomit yet and I am on my 7th week. Is this normal?

I have the same thing. No barfing just feel ill and then force myself to eat and it goes away. I think it is so different for everyone that we are all using different descriptions.

I found this on WebMD: "Morning sickness can range from mild, occasional nausea to severe, continuous, disabling nausea with bouts of vomiting. Symptoms may be worse in the morning, though they can strike at any time of the day or night." I am often close to vomiting, but have not yet. I constantly eat to settle my stomach. It gets worse when I do not sleep well the night before. I find that a little sugar can help. Gingersnaps are good too. Does anyone have horrible heartburn? That is one of my many GI problems I have. I hope your nausea subsides soon, Liz! Hang in there!
