Hi shiva, i think it is early to fetal pole. For me they found in 7th week. Also brown spotting is common until no cramps a__sociated with. i am 8w 4d along but bleeding little bit for past 5 days. Don't worry. I hope u will find fetal pole tomorrow. You will be in my prayers. All the best!!!!

I had an u/s at almost 7 weeks and they couldn't find the fetal pole or a heartbeat. A week later though, both were there. I had brown spotting with my last pregnancy & this one, & so far so good.

Shiva, I had the brown spotting on thursday for a few hours then yest more brown then turned to red w/some small clots. I went to the emergency room - i was 6w 5d - they did u/s and v____al u/s and they could not find anything at all in my utereous. The doctor stated my blood work still showed i was preg w/very high hormone levels but chances are i already miscarried. I had cramps also. Last night and today there is more bleeding w/lots more cramping and clots. I was devestated as we have been ttc for a couple of years. I hope the best for you and i dont want to scare you or anything i just wanted you to know what i went through.

Week 6 - Gestational Age (Fetal age 4 weeks) 5 ½ to 6 ½ weeks is usually a very good time to detect either a fetal pole or even a fetal heart beat by v____al ultrasound. The fetal pole is the first visible sign of a developing embryo. This pole structure actually has some curve to it with the embryo’s head at one end and what looks like a tail at the other end. The fetal pole now allows for crown to rump measurements (CRL) to be taken, so that pregnancy dating can be a bit more accurate. The fetal pole may be seen at a crown-rump length (CRL) of 2-4mm, and the heartbeat may be seen as a regular flutter when the CRL has reached 5mm. If a v____al ultrasound is done and no fetal pole or cardiac activity is seen, another ultrasound scan should be done in 3-7 days. Due to the fact that pregnancy dating can be wrong, it would be much too early at this point to make a clear diagnosis on the outcome of the pregnancy.
