I went to the dr yesterday and i recieved bad news...I am supposedly 10 weeks but the fetus showed 7 weeks and 5 days and no heartbeat in ultrasound. The dr said the fetus wasn't developing as much as she expected and that it looks like it died...I am totally devasted.. they did bloodworks on my hcg and will do more on monday and wednesday to see if it arises but if not, I am scheduled for D&C... anyone go thru this and hear heartbeat later??? please answer!

I'm so sorry!! I went through it in Jan. I was supposed to be 8 weeks pregnant but when we did the u/s, the fetus measured 6.5. We did hear a weak heartbeat one weak, but none the next :(

Stacey- Aw man, I am sorry too. Did you have D&C or miscarry naturally? and how did it go? painful?

Im sorry to hear that..The same thing happened to me about 2 yrs ago..it was a little more complicated, but i ended up having a D&C... it takes time to get over it..i didnt want to believe the dr when they told me that..i hope things turn out for the better though...

I had a D&E- the procedure wasn't abd and recovery was about 2 days. I feel it was easier than letting it happen naturally, but I know some people feel differently. Good luck!!

Im going to agree with stacey..it was alot less stressful to have the D&C...it still hurts and it will for awhile..i wish you luck in your future pregnancies..it may take awhile..took me 2 yrs.. but you'll have one when its time..good luck to you
