Ok somebody tell me....do you think a 1 night cruise that includes food, drink, taxes, and port charges for 3 people, for $300 is expensive, oh and its for a balcony cabin!? Sorry these travel agents p___s me off! Damn these hormones!...lol

I don't think so....Is it?

No its not at all...it's really good. Usually the price in $250 PER PERSON....the price they got was what i would get with my employee discount. Oh and if anyone would like to go on a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines just let me know!!!! =]

GOSH YES ITS EXPENSIVE! What cruise line? Okay, I have to consider myself an expert in the "cruising" department. I have been going on 2,3,4,5,6,7,8, 10+ day cruises since I was 2 years old. I just got back from on a few weeks ago. I have been on 47 cruises in my lifetime so far. This is just a figure to go by. You should never pay more than 100.00 per day per person for a cruise. All cruises are all inclusive. They include your cabin, and your food and SOME drinks. They do not include, gift shop purchases, alcholic drinks, sodas, or tips. Depending on the cruise line, Carnival being the cheapest, you can get a cruise (NOT PEAK SEASON) for about 80.00 per day per person. Peak season that will increase to around 100.00 per day per person. A family of 4 could sail on a Carnival Cruise for 4 days for a total of about 800.00 *give or take a little depending on what time of the year) Again, this does not include what you charge on your "Sail and Sign" card. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I bet I can answer them. :) :)

Oh... I just re read your post... I thought it said 300.00 PER PERSON! Sorry. It may be a little bit high for THIS time of year... but usually the 100.00 per day per person is a safe bet to know you are getting a good price

I LOVE NORWEGIAN cruises! They are great ships! The last one we went on was Carnival... and I really cant stand Carnival. They have good prices, and are probably okay for people that dont go often, but all of the ships are the same. They have no varity in there activities... etc... they push the food and shopping way too much. I remember back when ALL cruises were all about entertaining the pa__sengers.... now it seems to be more about what they can and cant sell you. Dont get me wrong... love cruising, always have, always will. I just don't like carnival... b/c they are the worst about it.

I work for Norwegian Cruise Line. We ARE in peak season (wave season)....I am a reservation agent. The deal we have now includes sodas and gratuities PLUS transfers from pier to airport and airport to pier!

Oh really which ship did you go on??

lisarenee - March 6

One day I hope to go on a long cruise in Europe!

preggoplease whats up woth the illnesses floating around the cruise ships?

MrsShelton217 - March 6

Sun. That was several years ago. I liked it a lot though. Really... all of it is included now? Is this a limited time thing or what? I do prefer my gratuities to NOT be included though. B/C we have had some cabin stewards that were WONDERFUL... and some that were lousy... some dining staff same way... I prefer to tip accordingly. *I just realized that we ARE in MARCH now. I am still thinking this is February! Call it Baby Brain! haha*

I'm not exactly sure...we haven't had it on our ships yet *knock on wood*. But I have heard its from the food. But I am not for sure if thats true or not (about it being from the food).

So you make reservations for the agents? I am interested in an Alaskan Cruise. Do you know of any websites that rate the cruise ships, or maybe I should just ask Mrs Shelton :)

MrsShelton217 - March 6

ASK ME! Haha... I will rate them... :) :) A lot of the ships I have been on more than once or twice... and have had difference experiences each time... Ask away!

Preggoplease: How did you go about going to work for NCL? Do you do it from their office, or home?

preggoplease - March 6

Oh the sun is a nice ship....did you do the carribean? That is just a promotion going on for the week. Our "weekly deal". I know what you mean about the gratuities....I'm the same way. I can't wait for my vacation to come around so I can go on my FIRST CRUISE!!! I want to do Hawaii or the Carribean. We have a new ship coming out in November that I would like to go on.

MrsShelton217 - March 6

Yes, it was the carribbean... and honestly, this is sad... but i don't remember what ports we went to. I believe that was a 5 day cruise... but dont hold me to it. I wanna say that we went to Cozumel.. b/c i am thinking that was the one where we were supposed to dock at the international port and something happened and we had to dock at the city pier. anyway, there were so many ship there at the one pier that we were delayed SEVERAL hours being able to go into port.
