Omega 3

Does anyone know how much of the omega 3 you are suppose to take? The bottle that I have does not have directions. It only has 120mg of DHA and I have been only taking one a day but I am thinking that I need to take more but I am not sure. Please let me know, I really want my baby getting enough of it. I called my Dr.'s office and the OB was out of town and the secretary doesn't know. DUH!

I have a 1000mg fish oil supp and I just take one a day...if there are no instructions on the bottle/box...one a day is probably enough. You could also ask your pharmacist.

I do like Becky does and take a fish oil supplement because it has DHA AND EPA which are both very good. You can get just a straight up DHA supplement for pregnancy called "Expecta" and it is sold at Walmart and other stores over the counter. You just don't get the EPA in that.

oh, and I think the breakdown on my capsule I take each day is like 240 DHA and 400 EPA? I don't have the bottle handy so I'm guessing but it is something like that I think...
