Peanuts

I read somewhere that you should avoid peanuts. Has anyone else ever heard of this?

I was told to try not to avoid food your not allergic to while pregnant. (Did you know later in your pregnancy your baby can actually begin tasting foods you eat!)

In that search box at the top of the page, try typing in "peanuts and pregnancy". I thought the first link on the list might help answer this question.

I've heard and read about this. You should avoid peanuts during pregnancy if you or the baby's father suffer from asthma or eczema.

My doctor said fine to eat them, my sister's said no...it's a good form of folic acid and protien. You won't hurt the baby now, so I say eat it. I would only stay away if you have allergies in your family.

I agree with the last reply. Unless you have allergies...eat away!

I certainly hope this peanut rumor is not true , its all I want. I crave penuts so bad sometimes it makes me cry if I dont have some and we live out in the country and i make my hubby drive like 10 miiles to get me some, cuz i just crave them soooo bad. I hope this isn't true I guess I will ask the doc. It will bum me out if its true :(
