is it possible that my dog and cat already know that i am pregnant??? I cannot seem to get my cat off of me and usually he wants nothing to do with me at all.

I've heard that pets can very intune with that sort of thing and that they become that way quite quickly...could be a good sign.

Yes, infact, I am on bed rest and my older dog, the 3 yr old dog lays with her head on my belly and growls at the puppy when she gets to excited on teh bed. It is so cute.

I had actually called my mother asking her what she thought was wrong with my one kitten as she's not very affectionate & she just would not stop rubbing between my legs & following me everywhere!! I was tripping on her wherever I went. The other kitten also has been more vocal & has to sleep in the bed with me now. I don't know if I'm still pregnant, though, as I don't know what happened to me today (see my post...to all who have bled...), but I think she knew before I did as that was before I tested & got a faint line.

Jen, that is so cute! I was just thinking the other day about this because my boyfriend's dog seems to know what's going on with me. The dog will not leave me alone! always curling up on my lap (moreso that usual) and he gets distressed when I leave. I definately think pets are aware of these things :)

I've been dealing with the same thing my cat who liked my husband more is now sleeping on my stomach and purring and doing this werid sucking thing with the blanket on my lap. It's nice but i've tripped over him like 10 time already hahaa

I have an 11 year old rottweieler, have had him 11 years :) And that old man is following me EVERYWHERE and licking my hand as I walk. I am 6 weeks along and I am sure he knows.
