Pink Brown Spotting Breast Tenderness Gone

I am 5 and 1/2 weeks and yesterday started light brown spotting. Last night I was spotting very slight light pink with a slight amount of cramping. This morning just a little more brownish - very slight but my br___ts don't seem to be as tender today. Do you think I should be worried that maybe I have or will miscarry? I'm 26 and this is my first pregnancy. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

the best advice I can give you is to call your doctor or go to the ER asap! Try to be calm and hope for the best. You could be experiencing implantation bleeding which is normal. However, I too had brownish spotting without cramping and lost my b___st tenderness several months back and I had a m/c. I do not know if that is your case so you need to see your doctor right away. Good Luck!

JF - Thanks for the advice. I did call my doctor right away after reading your post - they seem to think that spotting is normal and when I asked about losing most of my b___st tenderness they said that it's just hormonal and may come back tomorrow. I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage - how long did you spot before your symptoms went away? When/how did you find out you had miscarried? Thanks again for your response.

I was just about 7 weeks 1 day and I started spotting I called my doctors offices and the receptionist told me there is nothing they could do to prevent miscarriage but to come in. I started spotting on Fri. and it was only a little bit when I wiped. then increased on Sat. and then hardly had any on Sun. Mon. I went to the doctor and they did an ultrasound and saw the baby's heartbeat but it didn't look good. a few days later I started actually bleeding heavier and by Fri. I had dnc the baby had died. The b___st tenderness stopped after a couple of days of spotting. I knew something was wrong due because my b___bs were really big and then they got smaller. When I asked my doctor about spotting she said no amount of spotting during pregnancy is considered normal. I am now pregnant again (7 weeks) and a nervous wreck. So far so good no spotting. I also had no cramping or pain at all which was weird. Good luck to you.

Kelly, I would demand you get seen by your doctor. Don't let them wave you off with "Oh it's just hormonal." Bull-c___p I say. They don't understand the internal worry we have to face when we spot or cramp. Keep us updated and Good Luck.

JF - Good luck with this pregnancy - I'll say a prayer that everything is healthy! I'm not really spotting today, but my b___sts are definitely less tender - although still large. After reading some more online though, I really wish they hurt more - I don't think it's a good sign that they don't. Thanks again for your imput. I have my first appt. Monday - I guess I can wait until then :(

I am 10 weeks and I have not had hardly a single symptom this pregnancy. I heard the heartbeat yesterday and it was music to my ears (previous m/c 07/2004) I freaked myself out about my b___bs and no morning sickness too, but try not to worry about all that. I wish both you ladies the best of luck.

Thanks. More about the b___bs I remember with my son which was a great pregnancy that they were really sore in the beginning and then later on just tender. Now at 7 weeks my nipples are sore and my b___bs seem swollen but they don't really hurt so don't worry yourself over your b___bs.
