Hi everyone- I am about 6 weeks pregnant again after having two consecutive m/c's so needless to say, I am pretty nervous. Tomorrow is my first doctor's appt. and i am ready for all the bloodwork. Monday I am scheduled for an ultrasound and nervous for that. I just want so bad for everything to be alright. I am trying very hard to keep a positive att_tude. Has anyone been through this or know someone that has? Thanks for listening. keeping my fingers crossed that the third time is the charm.

hello again fitnessfan, your like the only one that i see from the other board we were on forever. i hope to see more girls from the trouble concieving board in here with us soon. i am excited for you for tomorrow. tell us all about it. mine isn't till the 20th and i can't wait. i wonder if they'll do an ultrasound at that appt, since she did not schedule me in for another one....

My aunt had about 14 consecutive miscarriages (highly unusual, but she has a blood condition) and she did have a healthy baby girl who is now well into her 30s. :) So, even after all of those it's very possible. She's definitely not the norm!! I've heard several people on these boards say that they've had 2-3 miscarriages and they went on to have very healthy pregnancies afterwards. :) good luck!

I just delivered my son in June after three miscarriages in a year and a half. Good luck to you!

I had a miscarriage in March and am now five weeks pregnant. After the experience with the miscarriage, I feel like I am worrying more than if I had not gone through with the miscarriage. I do work with woman who had two consecutive miscarriages. She was very supportive through my miscarriage. She just gave birth to her son in Christmas. She told me that due to her two miscarriages, the doctor monitored her very closely. I hope her story helps.

Thank you everyone for all of your stories and words of encouragement. The doctors appointment went well today. he did an exam and said that everything looked healthy. I had a lot of blood drawn too, which i will have to wait for Monday for the results. I was tested widely for all kinds of chromosonal abnormalities, blood and thyroid disorders after my second m/c so the doctor seems to think that this time we will make it all the way. I have my ultrasound on Monday, which I am very anxious for. I am just going to try to enjoy the weekend and enjoy being pregnant. I hope all of you have smooth and sucessful pregnancies. Crystal-nice to see you again. let us know what the doctor says and ask them if they are going to do an u/s that day so you can schedule one if you need to. Cabbie- Congrats on the birth of your son. Enjoy! Seredetia- Your aunt's situation is almost unheard of. i am glad that she has been able to have a baby girl. Thanks for your words. Beth- Try not to worry too much. Find some things to do to occupy your mind. I know it is hard, but hang in there. RMC- Thank you.

hi I have had 15 m/c in 3 yrs becuase of a folic acid and b12 deficency. I already have 2 sons aged 14 and 16 yrs each, I am now 12 weeks preg and this on is sticking around. I was given a scan at 8 weeks to check it was in the right place. you will always remeber the ones you lost and worry about the one you are carrying but the longer the pregnancy lasts the less you will worry. good luck and congratulations.

ANy stories of encouragement would be sooooo greatly appreciated. wishinh you all lots of luck :-)

Hi everyone- I am 6 weeks pregnant too and had a miscarriage in '04. My husband and I have been ttc ever since. I have a 4 year old son from a previous relationship but my husband has no children. I go for an ultrasound on the 19th (tomorrow) and it's also my first check up and I'm so so so nervous. You guys are right that you worry even if everything seems to be ok. I'm also making my husband crazy with all my worries and concerns. Hoping that everything goes well this time and good luck to you all!

Hi all - I guess I'll join the Worriers Club too. I miscarried twins at 15 weeks in 8/05, then twins again at 8 weeks (if you can believe that, and no, I don't take drugs, all natural) in 2/06. I had surgery in March 06 to resolve fibroids. I am now 5w 3d, and I just don't even know how to behave. I hope it's not twins again. I did have blood tests last week that showed my levels tripling and my progesterone is good. I have zero cramping, zero spotting and no nausea. The first 2 pregnancies were full of spotting, bleeding, cramping, trips to ER. Now I just... I don't know.. I feel fine, great even. Maybe this is how it's supposed to be. One thing is for sure, we are not telling ANYONE until after we get past the amnio.

Hi Ladies... it is so crazy how common m/c are, you would never know until you've had one, and then its like 1/2 the women you know tell you that they have had one too! I had a m/c in march 06 and am ttc again. i think i may be now but i am in the 2ww. Melissa, I'm sorry for your losses, but this pg sounds promising. I had a lot of really really bad cramps with my first pg... so bad that i cried myself ot sleep. so maybe a normal pg is better... baby dust to all of you!

Fitnessfan, I know what you're going through. I've had 5 mc's and am now 8 weeks pregnant. So far, this pregnancy has been different and we've made it past 6.5 weeks. I'll say a prayer for you. It's so hard not to be nervous.

Hi ladies. I have had 2 m/c in the past year, and just found out yesterday (one week before AF due) that I am pregnant. I didn't think I would get a pos. so soon, but it was clearly positive. Had a blood test today and confirmed. I have my first appt. on the 31st of July, so It is going to be a long week and a half before then! I am wondering if my doc. will do a scan and check my hcg levels to see if they are doubling the way they should be. Well, just thought I would post. Fitness, are you from the Problems getting pregnant board or the What to expect board? your name looks very familiar!!

fitnessfan21 - July 21

Tammy-Congrats! i am from the problems getting pregnant board. Now I am 7 weeks along and had an ultrasound yesterday that looked very good. The doc said the baby is measuring at what he/she is supposed to be and had a very strong heartbeat. I had hcg done twice so far and the numbers are good too. So i am really trying to stay positive and keep getting good news. Good luck to you. I know the wait seems forever but it will be here before you know it.
