Propane Leak Scared Of Exposure

Does anyone know anything about the risks of inhaling propane while pregnant? I am seven weeks along, and I THOUGHT the smell in our travel trailer was from the sewer, and after a half hour left for the afternoon. When we returned in the evening, the smell was worse, and after another 40 minutes or so, my husband finally figured out the problem and shut the propane off. I wasn't light headed, and the windows were all open, but I was definitely smelling it during those two periods. Now I am worried about dangers to the baby. Any info would be appreciated!

I just called poison control as I was smelling propane for almost 4 hours and I'm 8 weeks pregnant. Sadly, I had no idea that's what the smell was. The poison control said it will affect you before it affects baby. I was slightly dizzy, which I made them aware of, they said your fine but immediately get fresh air and have someone ventilate the house very well (open all windows and doors for a couple hours). Hope this helps some people.. When in doubt, call poison control. I'm providing there number for anyone who needs it: 1 (800) 222-1222
