Hey, I was wondering about the whole cheese thing, probably because I love cheese so much!! But, is ricotta cheese okay? Also, is the whole thing with the soft cheeses that they aren't pasturized? So, if the cheese is made from pasturized milk is it okay? Thanks!!!

oh yes, ricotta is fine...its totally processed and you're right about the pasturized thing...you just can't have feta or blue cheese or brei....and to be honest i've eaten feta a few times anyway....i LOVE greek salad!!!!!!!!!

My husband is 1/2 greek and everytime we go to MIL's she'll put out all sorts of wonderful greek cheeses, of which I can have NONE!!! LOL, we haven't told her yet so it's like "nah, I feel more like fruit "and I'll grab an apple or something before she can question me. I too LOVE cheese and the stinkier the better (ie, bleu, feta, etc)

ricotta is fine. a lot of blue cheese and feta are ok too- just read the labels. if it says pasteurized milk then you are ok.
