I am 6 weeks pregnant, and i have abdominal pains when i sit for a long period of time or when wearing tight clothes...or whenever. EX: when i am at work, or just at home watching TV. they're not painful just uncomfortable. I have had a misscarraige before and am very nervous!! I experiance no bleeding, and some lower back pain. The pains don't even feel like period cramps....more like a slight burning sensation.....anyone??

I get abdominal pain and did with my daughter, but I never asked my doctor about it so I can't help there, but I would suggest staying away from tight clothes, especially pants...if you are prone to miscarriges its not good because the tight clothing can cause a miscarriage

can tight clothing really cause a miscarriage?

Hi llukenjess. I am not sure about the tight clothingcausing amc, I have never heard that, but I know that when I was around that 6 week mark, I was so bloated that it made alot of pressure on my bladder and abdominal area. It felt like any cramping or pulling(which is all very normal!) that happened, was intensified. I would try and opt for some looser pants and if it is possible at work to get up and stretch or move around frequently, may help. Remember that there is so many changes going on in that area of you body at this time, that it is bound to give you weird feelings and sensations. Your making a baby!!!:) I too mc and I researched mc relentlessly and from what I learned, there is nothing that you can do this early to prevent it from happeneing. Just make yourself as comfortable as you can and expect to feel weird things!! I am sure all is going to be just fine with your LO and Congrats!! THink of those feelings as your baby's way of saying hi right now!! It always brought a smile to my face!! :)

Oh and as far as the burning, it is all normal! My dr. told me that unless you are cramping so intensly that you cant stand it and it is accompanied with red bleeding, don't worry, it is just your body preparing the baby's home!! Best of luck hon!
