how will smoking marijauna while you are pregnant affect the baby? I only smoke once or twice a day. Will cutting back help?

Smoking marijauna can cause serious birth defects. Instead of cutting back, you need to completely quit!!! It may be hard, but it is something you need to do for your baby.

I have had nurses and doctors that could not give me a straight answer on that Q. Meaning they dont think so. I smoked with my first a joint a day. hes great smart. if anything it calms the baby. BUT DONT SMOKE A BAG A DAY! A LITTLE BIT HERE AND THERE IS FINE. WOMEN SMOKE CIGERETS I BELIEVE THATS WORSE!!!

I agree with milissa.

please don't smoke marijuana while pregnant, it will harm the baby. It will cause the baby to ADHD. How does it make you feel? Well the baby feels the same way. Mary Jane does destroy brain cells.

after reading the posts under the other smoking posts, i think cutting back is probably best. there's not much difference in the two.

so does smoking cigarettes! the baby can suffer from nicotine withdrawls but no one is flaming the cigarette smokers--they are being coddled--is this because one is legal and the other isn't? Smoke if you want to, there is no conclusive evidence that it is more harmful than cigarettes--it's less harmful because it lacks addictive substances. Personally, i think it's still a bad to choice but only because it restricts oxgen, but it is your choice.
