I am 6w 3 days pregnant and I started having some pink spotting earlier today and this evening it has turned into a red streaking. It isn't enough to have to wear a pad or anything, but everytime I wipe it is definetely enough to notice. Anyone else had this? Any info would be very appreciated.

Also I should tell you that I'm not having any pain/cramping, and is not around the time that I would normally be having my period.

Well I am 9.5 weeks along, and have been in your shoes. My first exam was about 2 weeks ago, where I brought similar questions to my OBGYN. She thought nothing of it. I was spotting regularly from about the 6th week to the 7th week. My spotting was more of a brownish color. I have read lots and asked lots on this subject. So far what I get from all this information is: -Your body is going through a change in hormones, so it's adapting to the change which can sometimes produce spotting. -Secondly, your uterine wall is stretching. And sometimes the uterus can contain old blood that in essence 'got lost' and is now finding its way out. The only warning sign I can think of (from what you said) is that you have had red blood. Red blood means new blood...which I know is common sense. You may want to call your doctor just for a check-up. I can say that if you are having a miscarriage (most of the time) you will know it. You will have an overly heavy period that will last for a while and will fill up many pads. I was extremely scared when I was spotting, which made my week extremely miserable...which is stressful and in essence not good for the baby. Don't sit and worry....get checked. If you get an anatomical ultrasound and the sac and yoke sac are in good shape your miscarriage chances go from 15-20% to 5%. I promise this test will make you feel a whole heck of a lot better. I hope this rambling helped.
