mansi, pregnancy can be a scary thing (more because we scare ourselves than anything else). i was told that i may have hypothyroid and my doctor did further blood work. the additional testing came back normal. however, during the wait i did a lot of research on hypothyroid and from what i found if you are put on thyroid replacement meds early (which you're on) then there is a very high chance of having a completely normal/healthy pregnancy. it's worse if you go through your whole first trimester undiagnosed. then is poses developmental risks. i think you'll be fine. just keep your head high and hope for the best. atleast you caught this early!! best of luck!

Hi Mansi- I'm 5 weeks and am hypothyroid. My endocrinologist who deals with my issue told me to set up an appointment 3 months after you get pregnant. They can make sure your levels are in the right place. My mom was hypothyroid with me and so long as you keep taking your medicine and checking in with your doctor, your thyroid should be okay. From what i hear, it can get pretty wacky, so we just have to keep getting a blood test to make sure we're in a good range. Best of luck! -Julie
