Uncontrollable Dizziness

I am about 7 weeks along. The past about 10 days, I get very dizzy, sweating, have an increase in my HR and then my vision gets dark. Usually when I sit down it goes away. As soon as I stand back up, it starts all over. When I check my BP it is fine. I am not in a position where I am able to sit down. I have good fluid intake. I'm just wondering if anyone knows why this is happening or what I can do to stop. I go to the doctor on the 7th.

I am not really sure WHY... but I do know that its fairly common. It happened to be a few days ago... and does occasionally. When you stand up from sitting or lying down. Get up VERY slowly. See if that helps. Also... even when already standing, try not to make any sudden body or head movements. Try that for a few days and see if it helps. Mention it to your OB next time also. Might not hurt to keep a watch on that blood pressure just incase. Even if your pressures are totally normal... keep a paper record of them at different times of the day, and when this happens to give to your doctor. It would just rea__sure him also that your pressures are fine throughout the day

One more thing.... when that happens... try eating a light snack... yogurt, or even just drinking a gla__s of orange juice or something. Sometimes your blood sugar can suddenly drop making you feel dizzy and faint

I try to eat a quick snack. Haven't noticed much of a difference by doing this. I'll just keep trying.

exactly..i am so tired. i figured it was all just part of this. I get headaches but alittle later they're gone. i'll check into this possibility

Ask your doctor first of course, but I think my dizzyness was due to my prenatal vitamin. I eat pretty healthy and think I was getting most of what I needed that way. IT IS possible to get too much of a good thing! My doctor let me switch from prenatals after my 5th week (I am 6 weeks 4 days now) to a childrens vitamin twice daily for now. I will have to switch back to prenatals in my second trimester.
