this seems stupid of me but is it true you actually have to pay to have a baby and for all your medical treatment?

Yea, but theres a lot of programs that pay for it, even if your not low income. You just have to take the time to find them.

around what prices are we talking about? lol thousands or just hundreds?

If you have no medical insurance and are not eligible for low income help.....the whole cost of pregnancy will definitly cost in the thousands....but most people either have medical or can qualify for some type of help.

Also depends on what state you live in. My state, there are programs for upper middle cla__s and down, cost is something like $600 for full coverage.

The average cost to give borth in the state of new york is approx. $25K without any form of aid at all (which is very, very unusual). This cost included hospital fees, tests throughout pregnancy, doctors visits throughtout pregnancy, pediatrician visit to hospital on first day. Yep something women have been doing naturally since day one costs more than some brand new cars!!! :O
