Most commercially available tests are 99% accurate. Check which one is the most sensitive - that is, the one that pick up very low levels of hCG - that will give you a more accurate result if you are very early into your pregnancy. You mentioned that you're three and a half weeks late, however, which makes you nearly 8 weeks. Any pregnancy test would pick up hcg at this stage.

I've read that a lot of people say that Clear Blue isn't that senstive, but it (the digital model) detected my pregancy when I was actually only 3 1/2 weeks pregnant. I saw a VERY clean + both times I tried it. I thought I was 5 weeks pregnant at the time, but because of low hcg levels, I just had an ultrasound done and my due date was ten days off.
