Hi. I am currently 7 weeks 2 days pregnant. Last Tuesday when i was 6 weeks i noticed some red/pink blood on the toiletpaper after i went to the wasthroom. I went to the ER and they scheduled me for an ultrasound. Two days later i had the same amount of blood ont he toiletpaper went back to the hospital and they did an emergancy ultrasound. The baby was fine 129 bpm. I had a small subchronic bleed (spelling?) and the doctor said it should clear up on its own. I had brown discaharge for about four more days. THen today a week later i have bleeding again. I'm not overly worried as its the same as last time and i have no cramps. Is this normal for a subchronic bleed and when did your bleeding stop? Any stories or advice would be greatly appreciated as its always nice to relate to someone. Thank you. Amber

Subchorionic bleeding is not normal, but it is fairly common. In most wome, it clears up by itself and doesnt affect a healthy pregnancy. I am also spotting ...brown in colour..ultrasound on the 19th showed subchorionic bleeding...so doc has told me no lifting, no travelling and no s_x, plenty of fluids. Basically you have to take it easy...as there is no med to stop it

I had a subchoronic bleed at about 9 weeks. I had a two different times that I had bleeding which was pretty bright red. The bleeding lasted about two weeks each time. I'm now 24 weeks along and everything has cleared up. I'm sure you'll be fine and everything will heal on it's own, just take it easy.
