20 Week Ultrasound Accuracy

I believe I am currently almost 34 weeks pregnant. At the time of my 20 week ultrasound, the estimated due date was only three days different than what I estimated it to be with my last period. That would put my date of conception in the middle of January. I'm now worried because I started thinking about how I had s_x with my ex on Dec. 21st, and then had a light period of 3-4 days at the beginning of January. I believe I conceived with my current boyfriend, who I was having s_x with exclusively in January. I am now horrified by the possibility that maybe I was actually pregnant by my ex. However, all my measurements at the dr.'s office have been consistent with where I think I am in the pregnancy. Can I count on the 20 week ultrasound since it estimated the due date to be so close to what I thought?

There are huge differences between 20 wk and 24 wk conceptus. You can count on the 20 wk u/s

Thank you Lena. That was what I thought, too, and my doctor has never suggested that I'm farther along than I think. Still, there was some lingering fear on my part. Thanks for responding.

I think you can go by your 20 week ultrasound. Though at 35 weeks I measured about 37 weeks so don't let that mess with you if in the next couple weeks the doctor says youre measuring bigger. The baby is growing much quicker now. Good Luck.
