I am about 6 weeks pregnant i went for my initial visit yesterday my dr. told me that the heart beat of my baby is only 80 bpm and my amniotic sac is over sized he told me not to worry that it could be just because im still in early stages and we're not 100% sure how far along I am he set me up for a visit in a week but i couldnt take his advice and not worry because he instilled some fear in me and the look on his face wasn't to convincing that everything will be ok. I couldnt just go home and wait a whole week to know if everything was ok so I got online and did some research but nothing that i read could assure me not to worry is there anyone out there that can assure me not to worry am I over reacting??

Dian82 If by chance you are off by a few days in your pregnancy, the baby's heartbeat might have just started, so don't give up just yet. Normally, by 6 weeks the heart rate should be over 100. Between 80-100 is cause for concern, and below 80 almost always indicates a pending miscarriage, although that can take weeks. Not sure about the oversized sac part..... good luck to you!
