9 Weeks

9 weeks + - September 14

When i was pregnant with my first i could feel my uteras at around 10 weeks. The midwife showed me what to feel for. I am 9 weeks + so i thought i would have a feel. I was feeling low right down near my pubic bone and its difficult seen as i have a lil bit of flab from my 1st pregnancy. Any way i started from the belly button down. I got about an inch or so below my belly button then i felt my uteras. I am soo confused as i know that i a 9 weeks and there is no way it should be right up there. My last period was the 7th of july and i never had another missed period before that or an unusual one. It just feels firm and hard, do you think i should call my midwife for a check up to see if i am right.

Hey there, Your uterus is probably just stretching easier and sooner than it did with your first pregnancy. Since it has already been stretched to a full-term baby, making it easier to stretch this time around. I know a lot of women that didn't show until 4 months when they were pregnant with #1, but showed the same amount at 2 months with #2. No worries! How do you feel for your uterus anyway? Are there any specific directions? I would be almost 12 weeks if i was, I tried feeling but I'm not sure what I'm feeling. This would be my second baby, but I dont remember even trying to feel my uterus the first time around.

I was also shown to feel my uteras, it is hard to describe. When you see your midwife ask her. They know what they are talking about and i am sure she will be happy to show you. Its wonderful not only to see your bump grow but feel it growing is good too.
