The Baby Won T Let Me Sleep On R Side

I know this is better than if it was the other way around (L side). This has been happening all week now and it sucks b/c my legs/hips get so sore on my L side. When I turn to the R, he/she just kicks and uses counter pressure b/c I think his/her back in wrapped around the left side of my uterus. So, when I go on my R, I think h/s just gets all bunched up - I hope that makes sense. I don't know what I'm going to do for the next week and a half. I'm so sore....

Oh I forgot to add that my dr. told me yesterday that the baby is already at least 9 pounds.

has anyone else experienced this?

I haven't... but have you talked to your doctor about it? How far along are you? I'm guessing pretty far if your baby is 9 lbs.

Everytime i turn onto my right side it gets hard to breath and i end up getting sick. For the most part i sleep/lay on my left side but my legs/hips get sore also. All of this just started not to long ago...i still have a month to go...fun for me. How far along are you??

I have that exact problem. It's like if I'm on the right side, when she kicks, like she can kick the couch. it's almost like someone jabbing me on the outside. I find it helps to put my hand under my belly and then I dont feel it as much.

I'm 38 weeks by the way. Sorry I should have mentioned that.....
