A Tip For Those Trying To Conceive

Your chances for conceiving is better if you have intercourse the days proceeding ovulation and the day of ovulation. Sperm is said to be able to live within the woman's body for up to five days if it has fertile quality cervical mucus to substain them; whereas the egg is said to only have a life span of about 24 to 48 hours before it begins to break down. With this, since sperm have a higher life span then the egg, women trying to conceive are more likely to get pregnant if there is sperm already waiting in the fallopian tubes before you ovulate. Having intercourse after you ovulate is too late for the "magic" to happen. I hope this helps and I wish all you good luck.
