MY QUESTION IS: WHEN I HAD MY PERIOD IN DEC., FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER HAVING MY SON IN NOV. MY PERIOD DIDNT GIVE ME TOO MUCH PAIN AND LASTED 7 DAYS. BUT NOW SINCE HE'S 2 MONTHS, AND THIS IS MY SECOND PERIOD, THE PAINS FEEL LIKE IM HAVING CONTRACTIONS STILL AS IF I WAS HAVINGMY SON ALL OVER AGAIN. DOES THIS SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN? SHOULD I CALL MY DOCTOR? AND SHOULD MY PERIOD BE STABLE OR NOT UNTIL I TAKE MY BIRTH CONTROL PILLS??? PLEASE HIT ME WITH A RESPONSE OR SEND YOUR ANSWER TO MY EMAIL ADDRESS AT [email protected], THANK YOU!!

I have read that if you are prone to bad cramps, they tend to get less intense after you have your first child. So it sounds strange that it would feel worse now.

I was like that too - especially when b___stfeeding the cramps would be extra bad. When I finished b___stfeeding at six months I didn't feel the contraction-like cramps, just the normal ones.....
